FFC Flights for Cancer was founded by Ben Brown in 2016. Allowing different sports to participate in fundraising for FFC is a huge part of what we are trying to achieve. These are Ben's words as to why he started FFC's Flights for Cancer.

" The reason why I decided to start rasing money in aid of FFC was after attending finals days few years ago. While listening to the passionate people involved and the affect this was having on the room of people in attendance, and the impact the charity is having on the local families inspired me to want to do something to help in anyway I could.

As a keen player I decided I would run a charity Darts tournament to raise money for FFC. I have been very fortunate that the tournaments have been well supported and that I have had local companies provide great sponsorship. With this, and the people behind the scenes giving up their time and the players turning up each time the event would not be what it has become today.

We have been able to take darts to the next level in FFC and create a section of the FFC Shop dedicated to supplying the local community with Darts and Dart accessories.

In the last 12 months, through the tournaments and the darts section in the shop, we have raised over £9000.

This takes our total to over £17,000 and counting "
